Italia Part II

Italia Part II

Day 3

Before heading to Lago di Como, my family and I participated in a wine tour at the Franciacortia vineyard and visited Cremona—a quaint city in Lombardy known for its musical history. Although I did not get any footage of the tour, here are some of the highlights at Cremona:

Even though I have a fear of heights, I perservered through my shaky legs and climbed all the way to the top. It was worth it though because the view was absolutely stunning. Fun fact: this is the tallest bell tower in Europe.

And of course, another pizza dinner before heading back to rest and prepare for the next day's adventures.

Day 4

We embarked on our journey to Lago di Como and arrived around noon time. Day four was spent settling in and exploring around the hotel.

As always, the clouds are fluffy beyond belief and oh so perfect.

Loved the pattern and color combo at the hotel lunch bar.

P.S. My family is obsessed with hydrangeas.

Ended the night with a wonderful dinner at Al Veluu Ristorante. Sadly, it was too dark to get any good photos of our food, but the view was amazing.

Just for laughs—my sister Dee captured this silly photo in which the candle light makes me look so orange.

Day 5

After waking up and eating a nice breakfast, we went to explore Villa del Balbionello, a villa in Lenno known for its beautiful garden. This villa grew in popularity as more people discovered its existence through its film appearances in Casino Royale and Star Wars. Got caught up in the splendor and did not even take pictures of the actual garden.

I just love the way this little bush looks like a mighty forest.

Gelato break and a quick documentation of my outfit.

And to end the day, my family and I took a ferry to Bellagio. Here are a few shots of colorful and charming streets:

Stayed tuned for the next and final installment in which Family Wang visits Lago di Garda and the fashion capital of Milan!
